This weeks feature: Martha Stewart's Cookies
Honestly, normally I am not a huge fan of Martha Stewart's recipes. For some reason when I cook them I feel this odd sense that everything needs to be perfect. I know I need to get over it.
Anyway, I went home this past weekend and saw this cookbook on my mom's kitchen counter. Not one to pass up a cookbook, I opened it up. The way this cookie cookbook is set up is genius! It is devided into categories like crunchy, saltie, chewy, etc. So if you are craving something googey, to flip to the googey chapter, check your pantry and choose accordingly. I have tried two of the recipies: Carrot cake cookies (Chewy) and Cornmeal Jam cookies (crunchy). Both were EXCELLENT. My mom said she has made other recipes and ALL of them turned out great.
Since Chris is a major cookie fan I may have to buy a copy for myself:)

Hey Hollye:)
Thanks for checking out the blog:)
I will e-mail you the yummy recipe at your hello cozy site as soon as I make it home to copy it down.
i'm a sucker for beautiful cookbooks and this one looks gorgeous. (how can a cover with a giant close-up of a gooey cookie go wrong?) i think i'm going to have to take your advice and put this on the "to buy" list...
great blog by the way.
