Happy Birthday to me!!!

Last weekend, some friends and I took a trip to the beach to celebrate my birthday. We had such a great time!

The weather was perfect, which is some what a rarity at the oregon coast. We had no wind and blue skies until Sunday when we woke up to some light rain.

The highlight of the weekend was watching the Beavers bring down the "Mighty Men of Troy." It got a little tight at the end but the Beavs were able to come out victorious!!!! Go Beavs.

Thank you mom and dad for letting everyone stay at the house!! Thank you to Melisa, Melissa, and Zoe for all of your hard work. Thank you to everyone for coming!!! I am blessed to have you all in my lives.

Guess Who's 50????

One of the most important people in my life recently turned 50....my dad!! It was a great celebration!!! My mom suprised the whole family by flying from Iowa my dad's best friend from high school and his wife, Russ and Audrey. He was so shocked...it was great.

Lots of people came out to celebrate the event, my mom had a huge party with way too much food, we had a great time.

Thank you to everyone for making the day so special!!!

SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT

USUALLY I HATE DRIVING, ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I AM GOING...BUT THIS TIME WAS WORTH IT!! I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE INVITED TO A GREAT WEDDING, IN A BEAUTIFUL SETTING, TO WATCH A COUPLE OF LOVE BIRDS TIE THE KNOT. DEWI AND TONY MAY HAVE HAD TO WAIT LONGER THAN THEY WANTED, BUT THEIR WEDDING IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.

IT WAS NICE TO CATCH UP WITH FRIENDS BOTH NEW AND OLD AND ESCAPE FROM THE REALITY OF WORK, AND...MORE WORK.
